Kensington Soccer Roots
Welcome!

This page is dedicated to showing the impact and influence that the Kensington neighborhood and soccer clubs (i.e. Lighthouse Boys Club, Little Club, Kensington Ramblers, etc.) have had on the growth and expansion of soccer not only in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs but also on a National level.

The enclosed list identifies players and coaches that either started playing with a Kensington Soccer club and went on to play and or coach in college or at the National or professional level or is a direct descendent of a former player that hailed from Kensington or local soccer club.

North Catholic Soccer Alumni (NCSA) is proud to announce its tenth anniversary Hall of Fame Class.  This class, like all the rest, encompasses North's soccer lore dating back into the late 1950s.  These men will be honored on March 26th, 2017 at Ramano's Caterers at our second-to-none reception and fund raiser.  Our affair starts at 2 PM and includes open bar, full course dinner and dessert.  Our keynote speaker is Mr. Jim Curtin, Philadelphia Union's Head Coach whose career includes a Major League Soccer All-Star, All Big East player at Villanova and All-Catholic at Bishop McDevitt.  Tickets are going fast, cost is $85 and all proceeds go to support boys and girls in Catholic schools in the Philadelphia area.
