Kenny C. Gross is an AI Architect and researcher
in Oracle's Physical Sciences Research Center in
San Diego.  Kenny specializes in advanced pattern recognition,
prognostic machine learning, and dynamical system
characterization for improving the reliability, availability, and
energy efficiency for business-critical and mission-critical assets
in Internet-of-Things industries including utilities, oil-&-gas,
manufacturing, transportation, and for enterprise and cloud
data centers.   

Kenny has 248 US patents issued and pending for his innovations,
205 scientific publications, and was awarded a 1998 R&D 100 Award
for one of the top 100 technological innovations in the world that year,
for an advanced pattern recognition technique (MSET) that was originally developed for
nuclear and aerospace applications, and is now being used across a variety of  US industries,
including most recently for applications to improve quality, dependability, and optimal energy
efficiency for enterprise computer servers and storage.

Kenny's Ph.D. is in nuclear engineering.
