Ken Choy is producer of Breaking the Bow, a multi-day, multi-dsiplinary, inter-generational performing arts and writers festival that crossed ethnic, professional status, and generational lines. Choy is producer of Battle of the Pitches, a live screenwriting pitch competition; and the API TV Pilot Shootout, both which were sponsored by FOX Diversity and Final Draft.
Choy also produced Two Minutes to Save Lives, a day in which the API community came together to shoot PSAs for The Trevor Project; APIs Against Anti-Asian violence; and APIs Get Out to Vote.
For ID FIlm Fest 2010, Choy brought the two competitions as well as the Filmmaker's Crash Course session. He co-organized the film festival as well as the Asian American independent Features Conference.
Choy also founded and runs the MAPID Writers Group.
Choy also produced the API Ten Minute Play contest as well as organized the API Short Screenplay contest for the LA Asian Pacific film festival.
