Kembla Cherry Orchard in Royalla is the home of premium cherries in the Canberra and Queanbeyan region.
Established in 2001 by Martin Corby, a 4th generation orchardist, Kembla Cherry Orchard is home to 2000 cherry trees consisting of five different varieties: Merchant, Lapin, Stella, Rons and Sunburst (white variety).
Kembla Cherry Orchard is located in Royalla Station Estate, off the Monaro Hwy, 20 minutes south of Tuggeranong or 20 minutes south of Queanbeyan off the Old Cooma Road.
Picking your own cherries in the orchard is a rewarding experience. Buckets are issued upon arrival along with instructions on the correct picking method. Sun protection and enclosed shoes are recommended.
Cherries are pesticide and fungicide free and packed by hand on site. Premium 2kg boxes are available for sale and are a great gift idea or delicious addition to your table for the festive season.
