I am an Associate Professor of Accounting at Nanyang Business School. I investigate corporate sustainability, financial fraud, taxation, and AI, with particular focus on greenwashing detection, environmental credits, tax avoidance strategies, and how AI transforms business practices. Before academia, I worked as a senior corporate tax advisor at KPMG Hong Kong.
My work appears in journals including Journal of Accounting Research, Management Science, The Accounting Review, and Nature. I serve on the editorial boards of The Accounting Review and Accounting, Organizations and Society.
I earned my Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Austin. I also contribute analysis on sustainability and financial topics in media outlets.
