About Me
Welcome to my webpage! I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the National University of Singapore and a Research Fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA). My research and teaching interests are in the fields of Applied Microeconomics, Population Economics, and Labour Economics.
I received my Honour’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from the National University of Singapore and my PhD in Economics from the University of Otago.
I was previously an Instructor at the National University of Singapore’s Business School, where I taught Managerial and International Economics. Over the years, I have also held a number of research positions. I was a Research Fellow in the Centre for Research on the Economics of Ageing at the Singapore Management University and a visiting scholar at the Office of Population Research, Princeton University.
