EAPP 450 Advanced Research Writing

 Description: In this course, students refine research writing 

                                skills such as paraphrasing and summarizing with a                                     concentration on blending sources while maintaining                                     voice. Students also learn skills such as interviewing                                     and surveying for the purpose of writing research.

 

EAPP 491 Editing Writing

Time: TR 10:00-11:50 

Description: In this course, students learn skills to                                                                 identify and edit errors in their own writing. The         

                               course consists of short, in-class writing     

                               assignments and build upon academic papers 

                               students are writing in their fields of study.

 In this course, students are introduced to

                                the rhetorical conventions of contemporary English

                                discourse. Students will  produce well-articulated

                                and finely-tuned business products such as business 

                                letters, formal business reports, and e-mail

                                correspondence.  The aim of the course is to help

                               students become better writers, thinkers, and

                               communicators in the business world.
