We are getting married August 21, 2010 at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown.  The ceremony will be on site.

We will be having a black and white damask theme with apple green accents for a pop of color.  Here is my inspiration board. (Image from weddingbee.com, Mrs. Pomegranate.)

All Things Paper

We are doing DIY ones from Michaels.

Escort Cards--DIY placecards from Michaels that look similar to these.

I got a great deal on these hurricanes--I have large ones for centerpiece vases, medium to line the walkways, and small ones to use as votive holders.  I got gold instead of silver to match Aldie Mansion's decor and because I am hoping it will give the room a warm decor. Second pic is of the small votive holder lit, please excuse my cluttered mantel and crappy cell phone pics.
For flowers we are doing a mix of hydrangea and roses with green hypericum berries in a palette of white, green, and a hint of pink.

I made these wine glass lampshades all by my lonesome!  They still need some improvement, but you get the idea.  I think I will use these on the cocktail tables or maybe paint a table number on the lampshade and set them out on the tables.

We are spending 10 days at Le Blanc Spa and Resort in Cancun.  We booked a Governor's Suite, their top of the line room.  The resort gets rave reviews, and TripAdvisor rated it as one of the Top Ten All-Inclusives in the world.  So excited for this!

Still working on this, will be updated as we book them.
