2017 Goals and Objectives

1. Sponsor litter clean-up along area roads with the 4-H Club.

2. Conduct seedling order program for Community

3. Maintain aluminum, plastics and glass recycling program on the Ruritan

Park grounds, Ball Park, and Rockingham County Fair.

4. Maintain landscaping/mowing on Ruritan property.

5. Maintain record of man-hours spent mowing grass along the highway.

6. Provide local schools with trees or shrubbery in honor of Arbor Day.

7. Provide environmental materials for Library at local elementary schools.

8. Sponsor SPCA/Supply dog food and cat food donations.

9. Recycling by Ruritan Members

10. Support Virginia Wildlife Foundation

11. Plant Trees at Ruritan Hall

12. Support Tough Mutt Rescue
