Welcome to the Keewaydin Chapter NSDAR, Minneapolis, Minnesota

WELCOME!

Do you have a Revolutionary War ancestor in your family tree?

If you would like to explore your genealogy, the Keewaydin Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) may be able to help you.

Our goal is to keep the spirit of those who gained the independence of our country alive.

We are a warm, welcoming, and dynamic group of women who value our historical foundations and seek to promote citizenship in our lives.  We appreciate the opportunity to be of service our society and to our community in honor of the sacrifices of our Revolutionary ancestors.  If you would like to explore your heritage through genealogy, or are simply interested in what we do, please contact us for more information about our chapter.  A member of our chapter will respond promptly.

We serve the Twin Cities metro area of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

The DAR is dedicated to the mission of historic preservation, patriotism, and education.

With 125 years of tradition, the DAR created a network of more than 185,000 women to honor their Revolutionary War ancestors.  This demonstrates a vast array of service work, an historic National Headquarters building

with extraordinary collections and countless activities  taking place locally, nationally, and globally.

There is much to learn about the Daughters of the American Revolution.
