Kees (Cornelis) Albers

I am post-doc at Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute and the department of Haematology, University of Cambridge.  I do research in the interdiscplinary areas of genome informatics and statistical genetics. I am currently developing methods for analysis of next-generation sequencing data, and am responsible for the analysis of whole-exome resequencing data for a number of rare disease studies.

Before I was a PhD student at the Radboud University Nijmegen, where I obtained my PhD degree under the supervision of Bert Kappen. The title of my PhD thesis is "Approximate Inference Methods for Genetic Linkage Analysis"
