Overview

Dr. Kalyan Dey is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Bodoland University. He completed his PhD at Gauhati University under the guidance of Prof. B. Bhattacharjee and Prof. Subhasis Chattopadhyay. A key aspect of his doctoral research involved contributing to the design of the Muon Chamber detector for the Compressed Baryonic Matter (CBM) experiment. Dr. Dey served as Head of the Department of Physics from 2017 to 2020, overseeing teaching, research, and academic development.
