Thank you for taking an interest in the MERIT 2016 Program, a year-long professional development program for teachers. MERIT starts with an all-day Saturday class in May and then really kicks off big with the nine-day summer institute, July 5- July 15, 20156. The fun and learning continues with follow-up sessions and other classes in the following academic year, September 2016 - March 2017.
Before starting your online application, you should download the .PDF copy of the application questions (below in the footer). Use it to review the questions before applying online. There are a series of open-ended questions in the application that require you to provide answers in 150 words (or less). We recommend working on your answers in a separate document and then cutting and pasting them into the form before submitting. Most word processing applications will count the words for you.
NOTE: Be aware you will not be able to save a partially submitted form in the SurveyMonkey application; please be ready to answer all questions when you plan to sit down and complete your application. You are also required to have your principal complete a separate form supporting your application by the same due date/time.
Your completed application is due by (midnight) 11:59pm on Monday, January 18, 2016.
