The results of a survey by the Kensington and Chelsea Forum of 1,000 people aged 55+ living in the Borough of

Kensington and Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia showed that 87% would like to have a printed directory at hand rather than going online to search. The Office of National Statistics research shows that 70% of over 75s and 30% of the 65-74 age group do not use the internet. All directories are now online.

The Directory for the 55+ residents of Kensington and Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Belgravia is a publication produced as a result of the survey. It contains the A to Z of businesses and organisations in Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster and Hammersmith and Fulham.

Although The Directory is intended primarily for the over 50s, it is expected that people of all age groups will access it online and pick it up at libraries and apartment buildings.

Distribution is as follows:

1.      Online as a free digital publication

2.      To select  apartment buildings and all libraries in Kensington & Chelsea, Belgravia, and Knightsbridge

3.      By post to the over 50s residents of these areas

4.      By post to order free from the Kensington and Chelsea Forum for Older Residents’ website as a hard-copy directory.
