Teams are usually lead by a head coach, one or more assistant coaches, and a team parent. In general, the head coach's role is to focus on player development, game strategy, and interacting with the club. The assistant coach aids the head coach by teaching the skills and drills, managing the fielding of players, and filling in when the head coach is absent. The team parent interacts with the other parents to aid introductions, coordinate transportation, and organize game time snacks.
It would be impossible to make a concise list of all the work involved by each of these people leading the team. Nor are there clear delineating lines between each of the roles.
Each of these people take part by donating their time. They are not paid. They donate many hours of their lives for the love of the game and the love of their kids.
