Come join us October 25th, 2018 from 6:30-8pm at Camp Olmsted for a haunted monster bash! Witch fingers, jello brain, spaghetti and eyeballs and even zombie ribs will be served along with punch. Grab a friend, be in costume and have some fun with us--if you dare!!

Ham in a day comes to Scout Camp!!!

Not sure what to do Friday at summer camp having completed all your merit badges.

Ever wondered how to quickly and easily become a licensed amateur radio operator?  Check out the ham in a day class Friday July 17th at Camp Olmsted.

"Ham in a Day" is the perfect solution.  No tedious preliminary home study.  No long boring once-a-week classes. You attend for just one day, 9:00AM to 4:00PM, take a test, and your done about 5:00PM.  In the past ten years, thousands of men and women of all ages have quickly succeeded in obtaining their amateur radio Technician license.  With a success rate that has never been less than 85% on a national average, Ham in a day has proven to be an effective method for earning your Technician class license.

Crew 73 is having a busy weekend with a public service communications project. We are handling all communications for the dog sled portion of the Jim Lobdell Memorial Sled Dog Races at Chapman State Park.
