I have completed my BSc Engineering in CSE from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2014. In the final year of my undergraduate study, I have done my thesis in the area of Computational Geometry and Spatial Database. More specifically, I have developed a solution for efficiently computing visibility color map in a 3D space. The outcome of this research has been published in The 14th International Symposium on Spatial and Temporal Databases 2015 (SSTD 2015)[pdf].

I love problem solving and coding. I have participated in a wide range of competitive online and international programming contest. My Topcoder and Codeforces ratings are 1513 (Yellow Coder), and 1982 (within top 15%), respectively. I have also ranked within top 500 in Facebook Hacker Cups 2014-2016 and within top 1000 in Google Code Jam 2015. The details of my other programing contest can be found here. I am currently in-charge of coordination of Bangladesh Informatics Olympiad. I was the leader of BD team for IOI-2016, Kazan, Russia. I am also the lead trainer of BUET teams for ACM ICPC.

My current fields of research are Computational Geometry, Spatial-Database, Machine Learning. I am a 2nd year MS student under the supervision of Prof. Mohammed Eunus Ali. My MS project involves spatial indexing of trajectories and genetic algorithms to optimize different spatial queries. I was also involved in projects that require knowledge of NLP, Cloud and Distributed Systems.

I am highly motivated to pursue my higher studies in the area of Computer Vision, 3D Geometry and/or Machine Learning.
