Seward is best known for its silver or coho salmon fishing in saltwater.  Halibut is popular as are all of the other species of salmon.  Seward is also one location where decent size rockfish can be caught within kayaking distance from the launch.

While you can launch from the small boat harbor, we typically launch from the public access beach near Miller's Landing via Lowell Pt Road or by the industrial complex on the east side of Resurrection Bay accessed via Nash Road for closer access to the fishing.
