Kawartha Lakes Meditation Group is dedicated to the teaching and practice of meditation and mindfulness in a secular, modern setting. 

Based on the teachings of Zen Buddhism, we explore themes such as mindfulness and daily life practice. 

We meet Wednesday nights, 7:00 - 8:00 pm. 

Our general format is:

10 minute group check-in

20 minute seated meditation on a topic or theme

20 minute discussion or teaching based on practical, everyday usefulness

 Some evenings may emphasize silent practice, guided meditations or reflections, small group interactions or other activities, depending on who is facilitating the evening. Check our calendar to follow the monthly schedule.

Participation does not require membership, affiliation or any specific beliefs.
