I am a research scientist specializing in the area of Spatial Audio and Psychoacoustics. I am currently working as a Post-doctoral fellow in the Sound Recording department at the Schulich School of Music, Mcgill University, Canada.
Prior to this, I worked as a visiting research scholar at the Advanced controls display group, Department of Human systems integration, NASA Ames Research Center.
I completed my PhD in May-2015 from the Digital Signal Processing Lab at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore under Dr. Gan Woon-Seng. My doctoral thesis investigated on the 3D Audio Reproduction over frontal projection headphones.
I am also keenly interested in music signal processing, and sound recording/playback techniques for multimedia applications.
