Global Director of Talent Acquisition

BMC (Nasdaq: BMC) is world’s tenth largest software company and is a market leader in the Enterprise software product space. Recruited 3 years ago to completely overhaul a decentralized recruiting organization and provide strategic direction and leadership to create a centralized and highly effective global recruiting function. Tasked with the goals of creating effective recruiting models that enables enterprise and world wide talent acquisition and significantly reduces recruiting cost, improves the “time to fill” and “customer satisfaction”.

 

o    Provided strategic inputs to Business leaders and HR Business Partners on workforce planning and delivered as per the resource plans.

o    Developed internal and research firm related recruiting models in Americas, EMEA and Israel. Implemented hybrid Co-sourced models in India and APAC. These changes brought in cost savings of more than 60%.

o    Created an internal research/sourcing model operating out of India and supporting 4 continents that engaged in gathering market intelligence about industry segments, competition, generated leads of candidates from “talent targets”, converted them to prospects by effective use of campaigns and kept them engaged for future consideration. This proactive sourcing pipeline creation model resulted in reduction of cycle time by 40%.

o    Conducted research and analysis of the “Global Candidate engagement model” around the web, recruiter, sourcer, coordinator and hiring manager interfaces and implemented technology solutions, process improvements and templates for enhanced candidate experience. Improved Candidate satisfaction rate by 50%.

o    Redesigned and re-launched the company referral program and increased the referral percentage from 15% to 30%.

o    Created, led and managed a 20 member global recruiting organization directly responsible for filling more than 1100 exempt- professional-salaried and non exempt employees annually. Led teams operating out of USA, Ireland, Israel, India and Asia Pacific and helped the company get "top talent"  in more than 20 countries and across all functions.

o   Created and implemented a “Business Consultant” model for use of recruiters with their hiring managers to improve client satisfaction and reduce client escalations to “Zero”.

o    Implemented Sourcing/CRM systems for candidate lead generation, pipeline creation, email campaigns and reporting to increase sourcer bandwidth by 80% and improve recruiter productivity. Conducted reviews to ensure that the sourcing practices are in compliance with the OFCCP guidelines. Created strategies for integration of ATS, CRM and HRIS systems.

o    Advised on co-employment issues and created global guidelines for implementation in more than 20 countries. Developed contingent worker process being used internationally. Oversaw company’s Affirmative Action and OFCCP responsibilities. Implemented  the new electronic I-9s and E-verify process for federal contractors.
