High School Girls! Explore your interest in the ocean, science, and math, and meet scientists, educators, and new friends by attending this FREE two-day workshop during April 2019.
WHO: Girls in grades 10-12
WHAT: In this two-day workshop girls will learn about the tools used to study the genomes of living things, and tips for a successful career in marine science.
WHEN: April 16 & 17, 2019
WHERE: Northeastern University Marine Science Center, Nahant. Daily shuttle is available from Ruggles, Wonderland and Lynn/Central Square MTBA stations.

The workshop is free of charge, however, a refundable deposit is required to secure a spot. Student applications are accepted on a rolling basis until March 25th, or until the workshop is full. Preference will be given to girls hailing from economically disadvantaged families.
