Katherine Lim

Welcome to my personal website. I'm a Research Agricultural Economist with the Economic Research Service at the USDA where I focus on farm household well-being. Previously, I was an Economist with the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank and a Financial Economist with the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

I received my Ph.D. in economics and public policy from the University of Michigan in 2016. My research and policy interests cover issues relating to farm households, small business owners, independent contractors, and the taxation of pass-through businesses.
