Kate Fahey is an Instructional Technology Specialist at a suburban Chicago high school, dedicated to using technology to transform the student learning experience. With a background in engineering and experience as a former middle school math teacher, she brings a problem-solving mindset to education. From designing and developing a student-run technology helpdesk to bringing teachers together in multi-year user groups, she focuses on fostering collaboration and innovation.
She’s especially interested in bridging the gap between new technology and real-world classroom applications, helping both teachers and students feel empowered in an ever-changing learning landscape. With a focus on practical, hands-on solutions, Kate is committed to making education more accessible and impactful for all learners.
