F  Compiled a Telugu booklet ready reckoner for activists on Special Component Plan.

Jun’08-Sep’09 at Young Lives Project (An International Longitudinal Research Project on Childhood Poverty), Hyderabad as Project Assistant

 

Key Deliverables:

F  Looked after proper functioning of Project as an administrator and accountant.

 

Key Highlights:

F  Successfully completed child participation activities and assisted to produce a film “Voicing Experiences” through child participation.

F  Received a letter of appreciation and increment of salary.

 

Aug’05-May’08 at Human Rights Law Network Hyderabad Chapter, Hyderabad as a Coordinator of Child Rights Initiative

 

Key Deliverables:

F  Filed and followed up cases related to protection of child rights in the Juvenile Justice Board, Child welfare committees, Courts and other forums.

 

Key Highlights:

F  Initiated rescue operation of domestic child labors in the Hyderabad and Secunderabad twin cities with the help of other NGO’s like M.V. Foundation, National Domestic Workers Movement, and media and other government departments like revenue and labour, police, in this process.

F  Successfully rescued 25 Domestic child laborers.

 

Feb’04-Aug’04 at CHATRI (Campaign for Housing and Tenurial Rights), Hyderabad as a Coordinator

 

Key Deliverables:

F  Collected and compiled data of farmers and Coolies who had lost their livelihoods, lands and houses to the International Air port at Shamshabad.

F  Prepared and filed representation before the concerned authorities for ex-gratia and organizing meetings to mobilize public support in favor of displaced people to claim their legal rights.  

 

Key Highlights:

F  Initiated survey on evictions of international Airport.

F  Oral appreciations received from victims who benefited.

F  Remuneration decided to pay for land of   eviction victims was increased after my intervention by filing representation.

F  Dalit Aawaaz-I, (Essays on Dalit and child Rights), a collection of all my writings about various  aspects like "Buddhism as philosophy of social democracy, Caste System as  perpetuating Child Labour in India, Housing Rights, Reservations in Private Sector, Social Justice and implementation of child related laws in Andhra  Pradesh, Minimum wages.

F  Simmini-Light - Dalit Aawaaz-II, which is a collection of my essays on the current problems of the Indian Dalit Community, like the Dalit situation after independence, how we can protect child rights, Indian cultural revolution and Neo Buddhism, current political scenario and Dalit movement in Andhra Pradesh, a good legislation Protection of women from domestic violence Act 2005, the First Dalit chief justice of India K. G. Bala Krishnan.
 

PAPERS PRESENTED

 
F  Prepared and presented a paper titled “Dr Ambedkar’s Contribution for the upliftment of the disadvantaged through Law and Justice” in a National Seminar Organized by Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Research and Social Action, in Hyderabad on 2nd and 3rd September 2010.
F  Prepared & presented  a Paper titled “Classification of Scheduled Caste Reservations: Effective Sharing is only the solution” in a National Conference on movements for equity in reservations, held on 21st and 22nd February 2011, organized in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
F  Participated in International Youth Policy Symposium in London and given inputs in the sub group on inclusion. Organized by British Council and Open Society Foundation from May 16th to 18th May 2011
