Double Pearson Roller

Ralf Beutnagel designed the dopero kite, which is an acronym for Double Pearson Roller, which is based on the Pearson Roller kite, which in turn is a simplified version of the Roloplan kite. The dopero is particularly suitable for KAP in light winds.

The dopero is a rigid or framed kite; it has spars, and by some accounts, may take a bit of effort to assemble with the bridle lines and spars it has. A standard dopero is roughly 6 feet tall by 9 feet wide, or roughly 2 x 3 meters.
