Situated on the beautiful Kapiti Coast of New Zealand we are a diverse group of quilters and fibre artists with the love of quilting as the thread which brings us together. Meetings are held twice a month at Waikanae Bridge Rooms, Elizabeth Street, Waikanae. This means we have both a day and an evening meeting to suit the needs of all members. Interesting speakers, Show and Tell and helpful hints mean we are always inspired at our meetings over the year. Day meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 10a.m. Evening meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month at 7.15pm. A Saturday Quilting & Craft day is held on a Saturday on some months of the year. Next meeting dates are advertised in the relevant section of the website - see sidebar navigation.
Membership of the guild costs $35 per annum with a $5 discount if paid by May 31st each year and can be paid to the treasurer (Gail Butler) at meetings, by posting a cheque or preferably through internet banking - Account: 01-1167-0013764-00. Be sure to put your name in for reference and fill in a membership form to give to a committee member at your next meeting or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
The first subscription for members who join:
- between August and October will be 66% of the normal annual subscription (rounded to the nearest dollar $23);
- between November and March will be 33% of the normal annual subscription (rounded to the nearest dollar $12).

Visitors are welcome to our monthly meetings- $2 door charge
Classes are held throughout the year where we can learn new techniques or 'relearn' them as the case may be. Classes cost $15 for members or $40 for non members where spaces are available.
Community Quilts Group - Our Community Quilts project makes quilts which are available when a crisis or time of hardship happens in the community. These quilting days are held every two months on a Saturday from 10am - about 2.30pm but you can attend for all or part of this time.
