Kang Mo Koo
Dr. Kang Mo Koo currently serves as an associate professor within the Department of Economics at Yonsei University's Mirae Campus. Prior to his affiliation with Yonsei University, he held roles as a research fellow at the Hana Institute of Finance and as a lecturer (Assistant Professor) specializing in Property and Real Estate at the Deakin Business School.
He has earned a Ph.D. in Real Estate from the National University of Singapore, as well as an M.S. in Real Estate Finance & Investment from New York University.
His research pursuits encompass a diverse array of subjects including urban policy, transportation, climate change, the education system, household finance, behavioral finance, real estate markets, consumer behavior, and PropTech.
Drawing on a wealth of industry and academic experience garnered from Germany, Korea, the United States, and Singapore, he takes pleasure in sharing his professional journey with his students during lectures.
He has contributed his insights to a range of esteemed journals such as the Journal of Urban Economics, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Regional Science and Urban Economics, Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Finance Research Letter and Transportation, among others.
