About Me

Hi all, my name is Kamonrat Suphawan. I am currently a lecturer in the Department of Statistics at Chiang Mai University, Thailand. I was also an undergrad student in the department. After graduation, I got scholarship from Higher Education Commission to study aboard in field of Statistics.

In 2009-2010, I was a Master degree student of Dr Theodore Kypraios in the School of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Nottingham, UK. My dissertation was on the Lifetime Distribution with Decreasing Failure Rate. I then continued a PhD at the same university from year 2011-2015. I was a student of Dr Richard Wilkinson and my thesis was on Quantifying Model Error in Dynamical Systems.

In my spare time, I like to watch a film and read a book and manga (Japanese comic book).

I also like to travel and mountain hiking. My favorite place that I have been so far has been Highland of Scotland.

I also would like to recommend place and activity that you should try if you ever go to Wales, Coasteering  at Pembrokeshire.
