Hello, my name is Yusufu Kamara, a graduate from the University of Kansas. I currently teach at Baker University and Neosho County Community College as an adjunct instructor. before that I was teaching assistant at the University of Kansas during my time there as PhD student, and I also taught for two semesters in the Business school at Avila University.
I have a strong commitment towards promoting academic excellence, professional development and the promotion of academic diversity. I have experience teaching online, face-to-face and hybrid/blended classes. In addition to introductory level economics courses, I also teach Intermediate Micro and Macro, Development Economics, International Economics, Managerial Economics and Quantitative Methods.
My current research is on issues relating to the impact of foreign direct investment in developing countries, with a focus on the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
My future research interest aims at exploring questions on issues dealing with international resources movements, with a focus on their impact on developing countries.
