India has the largest stock of cattle in numbers with poorest productivity hence depriving additional income to the cattle-owners.

Hence the main aim of this program shall be to advise cattle-owners on nutritious live-stock feed for their cattle for enhancing productivity of cattle. Also they need to be trained and advised regularly on maintaining proper sanitation and hygiene and also ensure that their cattle are kept healthy by regular and routine vaccinations.

Fisheries and dairy farm products enjoy a huge market - not only locally but also globally. This shall enable villagers to contribute directly to the national economy. Also since most of the activities in dairy farming, cattle rearing and fishing can be done by both men and women, it allows women also to be productive for the household.
