CO-14West to the Blue Lake Trailhead on the north side of the road 68 miles west of Ted’s Place

Evan Blumberg & I hiked west along CO-14 to the Sawmill Creek Trailhead, which does not have any legal parking, then skinned up the Sawmill Creek Trail to the base of 12386, then up its east face to the summit. The maximum slope angle measured was 33 degrees. We skied the face finding a grabby soft slab, the dropped north into the next drainage finding perfect powder. We skinned back up to our approach skin track and skied back out to the car.
