September Meeting Sit-n-Stitch
Our September meeting is a sit-n-stitch, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Church from 9:30 am to ?

Bring your stitching stuff and a project if you like. We will also be working on our Angel Gown service project. We will have some gowns to embellish, gowns to cut out, gowns to pin together, and gowns to sew. Bring your sewing machine if you'd like to help put them all together, or just some pins and dressmaker scissors to help out in other ways!

What is the EGA?

The mission of The Embroiderers’ Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.

EGA is a national, not-for-profit organization. Membership is open to anyone interested in needlework, from the beginner to the professional.  The Kalamazoo Chapter is part of the Great Lakes Region, one of 13 regions of the EGA.

Learn embroidery and needlework techniques in chapter meetings, workshops, correspondence courses, certification programs, and national and regional seminars. In addition, there are free projects, a youth program, a quarterly magazine, and national traveling exhibits.
