What is the EGA?

The mission of The Embroiderers’ Guild of America is to inspire passion for the needle arts through education and the celebration of its heritage.

EGA is a national, not-for-profit organization. Membership is open to anyone interested in needlework, from the beginner to the professional. The Kalamazoo Chapter is part of the Great Lakes Region, one of 13 regions of the EGA.

Learn embroidery and needlework techniques in chapter meetings, workshops, correspondence courses, certification programs, and national and regional seminars. In addition, there are free projects, a youth program, a quarterly magazine, and national traveling exhibits.
