Kahuaomānoa Press is committed to publishing works by students of University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.  We are the first

student-run press on the Mānoa campus and a non-profit organization and a Registered Independent Organization (RIO)

at UH Mānoa.  Our mission is to promote and publish student collections of poetry and art.

Translated, Kahuaomānoa means both "the Fruit of Manoa" and the "Foundation of Manoa."

Kahuaomānoa was created to increase student interest in literature, creative writing, visual art, and editing.

Kahuaomānoa believes that students are interested in what other student authors write and may then be motivated

to write or publish their own collections as well as support the work of student authors.
