Letter from the President of KADE

From Nancy Hunter, KADE President November 2012- November 2013:

The Kentucky Association for Developmental Education (KADE) welcomes you to our official website. We are the Kentucky chapter of the National Association for Developmental Education, an organization devoted to the promotion and support of developmental education at the Post-Secondary level.

Our motto as an organization reflects our commitment to student success: helping underprepared students prepare for college success and prepared students advance in their basic skills.

KADE members from Post-Secondary institutions across the state invite you to join with us in promoting student success. Our membership chair will be happy to provide you with membership information any time during the year.

We hope the resources available on this website are helpful. In addition, joining KADE provides you with other benefits such as: receiving the KADE newsletter, having the opportunity to apply for mini-grants to support research in developmental education and examining the advanced sources available from our national organization.

One of the best ways to learn about KADE is by attending the annual KADE conference usually held in November. Watch the website for a call for proposals and registration information.

Thanks for your interest in developmental education. Feel free to contact me.
