I study partial differential equations, especially quasi-linear partial differential equations related to fluid dynamics and magnetohydrodynamics such as the Euler equations and the ideal MHD equations. I am interested in vortex and magnetic field structures, chaos, and stability in fluid and plasma. 

I am able to supervise Ph.D. students who graduate from the undergraduate course at Osaka  Metropolitan University.
