Headquartered in Dolores, Colorado, K-9 Search and Rescue Team Inc. is a non-profit 100% volunteer organization that is on-call 24-hours a day, 365 days a year, regardless of weather conditions or circumstances, to assist local, state, and federal agencies in the search for missing persons.
The Team has been asked to respond to wilderness, water, snow, urban, evidence, homicide, aircraft, and disaster-type searches, providing assistance to 12 states all over the US including Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, California, Idaho, and Texas.
Additionally, Team members have been asked to lecture and teach canine search theory and practice in many areas. Review the small map below to see states that the Team has both searched and taught in.
