Primitive Methodism

In 1971-76 we lived at Coxhoe a village a few miles south of Durham, Co Durham. The Superintendent passed on records relating to the former Coxhoe Primitive Methodist Circuit and asked me to look at them and then take them to the County Records Office. There, I found that there were records going back to earlier times and study of these and other work led to this study which I revised in 2007. There was enough material for histories of all the circuit chapels but time limited me to the Primitive Methodist chapel at Coxhoe and this is displayed here.  
Primtive Methodists missioned in Central Africa and this led me to various studies of their missions, missionaries and missiology.
