Marquis, J. W. (In Progress). A Comprehensive Definition of ICT Literacy for the 21st Century. This work in progress addresses the lack of a comprehensive, cross-disciplinary definition of Information and Communications Technology literacy by outlining one which incorporates current working definitions from instructional systems, literacy studies, computer science, sociology and other fields. A draft of this paper will be presented at AECT 2010 in October.

Marquis, J. W. (In Progress). Children Without Toys: ICT Literacy and Classroom Practice. This work in progress presents the findings from the larger research study conducted for my dissertation.

Marquis, J.W. (In Progress). 21st Century ICT Literacy in Recreational Games. This work in progress examines the ways in which recreational computer games foster 21st Century literacy skills. The article provides a format for evaluating a wide variety of games using the definition outlined in "A Comprehensive Definition of ICT Literacy for the 21st Century."
