Biography
Jun is currently a principal architect at Baidu Intelligent Driving Group (IDG) working on environment perception for L4 autonomous driving. At Baidu, he has also worked at IDL for 2 years as a senior research engineer. Before that, he has spent two years working as a Postdoctoral Fellow with Prof. Helmut Pottmann in Visual Computing Center, KAUST, and one year as a senior software engineer in MicroStrategy. Jun received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science under the supervision of Prof. Falai Chen. in 2011 from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), where he also recived his Bachelor degree in Computer Science in 2006.
