I like trees, a lot.
They make great conversationalists as they never disagree, don't interject their opinions, and never feel left out when you wander off to examine some rock.
I like animals also, the more wild the better.
I'd like to have pet ferrets but unfortunately they are banned where I live so I've had to make do with a couple of cats.
Cats are great - they let you bring them food each day and even tell you when you may pet them. They do however sing. Loudly and badly.
I like rocks and minerals.
I like to hit them with hammers to see what's inside.
Never hand me a rock you wish to remain intact, trust me, it wont be for long.
I prefer minerals in their natural matrix settings, polishing minerals is generally tacky and done for people that like to stand in jewellery stores.
I like water.
Springs, streams, geothermal vents, cataracts, forest pools.
The ocean always amazes me and I can watch it for hours.
I like storms.
Rain, thunder, lightning, wind.
If I could fly, I would be out there, in the elements whooping about like a mad thing.
Probably a blackened smouldering mad thing.
I like silence.
It gives the world a chance to intrude.
