Our mission is to promote the interdisciplinary study of the ideas of C. G. Jung and post-Jungians in the arts, sciences, and culture by delivering presentations and publishing papers. This educational society is independent of any other organization and is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.

Organizational Description

The Jungian Society for Scholarly Studies was founded in 2002 by an interdisciplinary group of academics seeking opportunities for scholarly discourse on analytical psychology, focusing on the research and theories of Carl Gustav Jung and the post- and neo-Jungians.

Membership in the society is open to all academics, analysts, therapists, practicing artists, students, candidates in training, and interested members of the public. To join, use the link below.

JSSS publishes an academic, peer-reviewed, electronic journal, entitled Journal of Jungian Scholarly Studies, formerly known as  JUNG: the e-Journal of the Jungian Society for Scholarly Studies.

JSSS serves to organize a yearly interdisciplinary academic conference through which members can present scholarly papers, organize roundtable discussions, and provide interactive workshops.
