    • Developing and/or applying cryptographic algorithms to address cybersecurity/privacy problems

    • Developing Blockchain-based decentralized cryptographic algorithms

    • Discovering vulnerabilities of cryptosystems by leveraging AI algorithms

  • Privacy preservation

    • Protecting users' sensitive data including usage, location, identity, etc.

    • Developing AI-based privacy attacks and countermeasures

    • Defining differential privacy for critical applications

  • Investigation of cyber incidents

    • Detecting Malware exploiting encryption schemes

    • Conducting reverse engineering on network packets to identify a type of Malware and Botnet

    • Predicting a risk of cybercrimes based on existing threats

  • Vulnerabilities of AI algorithms

    • Performing exhaustive execution to find hidden vulnerabilities

    • Investigating inference/poisoning attacks and developing countermeasures

    • Conducting research on generative adversarial networks for critical applications
