2013 welcomed Iliana Bozhanova, "On tour from Bulgaria", with accordionist Todor Yankov. Additionally, Thea Huijgen presented Dutch dances and an assortment of international folk dances. List of dances taught at June Camp 2013.
In 2012, June Camp was pleased to welcome back Željko Jergan, who taught charming dances from his native Croatia (plus a Serbian Gypsy version of Šano Dušo), and Larry Marcus, who added some interesting new Israeli dances to our repertoire. List of dances taught at June Camp 2012.
2011 was a banner year for June Camp with the highest attendance so far enjoying the teaching of Yves Moreau, teaching Bulgarian and Balkan dances, and his wife, France Bourque-Moreau, teaching Québécois and Breton dances. List of dances taught at June Camp 2011.
In 2010, June Camp welcomed Kete Ilievski, teaching dances of Macedonia, and Marilyn Smith, teaching dances of France. List of dances taught at June Camp 2010.
In 2009, Cristian Florescu and Sonia Dion taught dances of Romania. Yiddish dance teacher Steve Weintraub also presented a culture session, with Cristian and Sonia, on similarities between Yiddish and Romanian dances. List of dances taught at June Camp 2009.
In 2008, we welcomed renowned teachers Jaap Leegwater, teaching Bulgarian dance, and Lee Otterholt, teaching dances of the Balkans and Norway. A list of dances they taught is available here. More information about June Camp 2008 is available on the June Camp 2008 website.
In 2007, we celebrated fifty years of June Camp. Our teachers were Erik Bendix teaching a variety of dances and Gayle Armstrong teaching Mexican folklorico. In honor of the anniversary, Edie Spear and the June Camp committee compiled historical information about previous June Camps, available here:
