I am currently a Population Geneticist at AncestryDNA, where I am working to develop the science and methodology behind genetic ethnicity estimation and relationship prediction. I'm broadly interested in population genetics, evolution, and human history. In addition to my primary work in statistical and computational analyses, I have experience in human phenotypic and genetic sample collection.
In 2013 I received my PhD from Stanford University in the Biology Department in the lab of Marc Feldman. I also received my MS in Statistics at Stanford in 2011. In 2008, I received my BS in Biometry and Statistics from Cornell University, and worked in the lab of Carlos Bustamante.
