The Jon Sims Endowment Fund for the Performing Arts (JSEF) provides financial support for LGBT performing arts organizations.

Jon Sims began the gay performing arts movement when he formed a gay marching and concert band in San Francisco in 1978. To carry on his dream, the JSEF attracts donations and bequests, invests the contributions, and distributes grants to qualified groups. JSEF now manages more than $800,000 in total assets. Since its formation, the JSEF has distributed over $128,000 in grants while increasing the fund's principal. In addition, $30,000 has been awarded in matching funds since 2015.

With your assistance, the JSEF can grow its endowment fund and provide more financial support for our performing arts family.
