In a world where everything is constantly and rapidly changing one thing remains constant in this esteemed school district, the commitment to excellence and pursuit for higher learning and community engagement. Being new to the school district, I was asked to supervise the JSA, and was told throughout my interview process that these students were among the best and brightest and their commitment to this organization was second to none. In my limited exposure to the organization and the students who run it, I can say I am beyond amazed at the amount of dedication and enthusiasm that the EB and Cabinet members possess for this organization. Although the club will look different because of current events this group of students do have big plans for this upcoming year and can guarantee that although things may appear a little different, the level of enthusiasm, activities, and the overall impact that this organization will have on the school and the community around it will remain a constant.
JSA will remain a place where students can come and not only create a positive community impact but the students will also see tremendous amounts of personal growth. This chapter has an esteemed reputation in the organization as a whole, and that tradition of hard work and excellence will continue this year and will do so for years to come. I’m genuinely excited to be working with this year's EB and cannot wait to see what they will accomplish and provide for themselves, but the school community and JSA as a whole. If you are new to the school or genuinely interested in joining an organization that gives back, there is no better place to be than Secaucus’ chapter of JSA. We welcome you with open arms, and cannot wait to see what you provide to the chapter and build on its already impeccable reputation.
