The Josiah Quincy School works closely with the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.
Since 1951, Big Sister Association of Greater Boston has been helping girls reach their full potential through positive mentoring relationships with women. Big Sister is the largest mentoring organization in Greater Boston exclusively serving girls, covering 69 cities and towns. We could not serve the girls that we do without the dedication of our staff, Board of Directors and the thousands of volunteer mentors who give time and friendship to their Little Sisters.
Big Sister is proud to hire and retain a professional staff, including social workers who bring backgrounds in women and girls’ studies. Our Board of Directors come from diverse industries and professions, lending their skills and talents to help grow the organization. And, our volunteer mentors are the heart and soul of our programs, dedicating themselves to young girls and inspiring them to believe there is nothing they can’t do, become or achieve.
