Before-School and After-School Programs

The Josiah Quincy School has several programs outside official school hours that allow students to complete homework, and to engage in various academic, cultural and physical activities.  

BCYF Community Center After School Programs

BCNC Red Oak

One conveniently located 5 days-per-week program is operated by the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC), and is called the Red Oak After School program.  To learn more about the Red Oak After School Program, Click here.

JQES Afterschool Enrichment Program (ASEP), offers once a week classes in the following subjects:

  • Scratch Programming and Gaming Club, Grades 2-5, Andrea Blake, Software Engineer
  • Art, Grades K1-1 & Grades 2-5
  • Lego Club with DEILAB, Grades K2-5
  • Sports & Scholars, Grades 3-5, Allan Zamora & Steve Lampron
  • Tae Kwon Do, Grades K2-5, Julia Richieri, Black Belt
