Welcome to Jasper Park

Jasper Park is a mature neighborhoodbounded on the north by 92 Avenue, on the south by 87 Avenue, on the east by 149 Street and on the west by 156 Street.  The community has three excellent schools (Ecole Notre-Dame, James Gibbons and Stratford School), each having its own playground and park. Residents have easy access to a variety of shopping and commercial facilities (bank, pharmacy, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries) along the neighborhoods eastern border, on 149th Street. On the western boundary, along 156 street, are the beautiful new library, the fire station and Meadowlark Health and Shopping Center.
The first community organization was Jasper Park Family Club, founded in 1951 which changed its name to Jasper Park Community League in 1958. The community league hall, first built in 1960, is home to many activities.  Important to the community is the Halloween steak supper which also features a Haunted house to which we ask for donations for the food bank. Central to the community is the rink which boasts the first community league to have plastic puck boards and a Zamboni. The Christmas Potluck always receives a visit from Santa Claus and horse drawn sleigh rides through community.
Jasper Park has something for everyone. The neighborhood is very safe and walkableYou can download Jasper Park neighborhood walking map, prepared by the City of Edmonton, by clicking here
